Hi, my name is Sarah and I am an interior design student. I previously studied two years of interior design at Mount Royal University. Due to Covid-19, I chose to take a break from my studies. I am now continuing my studies at the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT) in the Interior Design Technology program and will graduate in April of 2024.

I have always been inspired by design and architecture. Through my travels and interest in art, I have learned to appreciate many styles. My personal style could be described as Scandinavian and Modern. I appreciate clean lines and influences from nature.

Once I graduate from NAIT, I plan on working at an architecture or interior design firm. I am interested in hospitality, retail, commercial, and education design. I do plan on furthering my education by studying part time at Yorkville University to achieve my bachelor’s degree. I also want to take the NCIDQ exam to become a licensed interior designer. I hope in the future to eventually start my own interior design consulting company or complete a master’s degree.
